It's a Girl... What? Two of them?

Alright, here is the moment you have all been waiting for. Steven and I are the proud new parents of two female Sugar Gliders. The adoption process was not nearly as difficult as we had anticipated.
First, I would like to say thank you to my friends and family for being so supportive of our consideration of adoption.
Second, I would like to apologize for so horribly misleading you on my Facebook page. You have to admit, I got you interested though.
Anyhow, back to our Sugar Gliders. One is much more vocal than the other. The vocal one, we have named Squeaker and the quieter, calmer one is Sugar Pie.
Our dog, Lorenzo is quite interested in them. He stands by the cage for long periods of time, just licking his chops. :) We thought of posting his picture here but he has requested that we not post a picture of him standing by the cage licking his chops because he is afraid that it might be used against him if one of our Gliders should end up missing. (Which we are taking every precaution to prevent.)

We have heard that Sugar Gliders can be very high maintainence but so far, we are managing just fine with them. Sugar Pie, even let me pet her tummy this evening as she was hanging from the top of the cage. :) We'll keep you all posted.
